Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights, OH is seeking an RN for the Surgical Medical Unit. This full-time, day-shift role emphasizes delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

You will implement and revise care plans, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, document findings, educate patients and families, and assist with discharge planning while coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN degree required or equivalent.
• BSN preferred.
• 1 year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience considered.
• Current state RN license and BLS certification required.

About This Role

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience:

• One year of current acute care RN experience or military RN experience required

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross required
