Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Warrensville Heights, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical and Observation Unit. You will deliver compassionate patient care across a variety of diagnoses, working with a dedicated team from admission through discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• New graduate RN or <1 year RN experience.
• Current state RN licensure; BLS certification (AHA).

• Assist caregivers in providing exceptional patient care from introduction to discharge.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience.
• Supply healthcare education as needed.
• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity and resources.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

Requirements

Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
