Advocate Health Care’s Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgery Center Pre/Post unit. The role supports a 36-hour work week with start times varying, including call coverage on weekdays, weekends and holidays.

The position emphasizes high-quality nursing care within a hospital-based surgery center environment. The RN will perform circulator duties, ensure patient safety, and collaborate across teams to deliver optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• One year experience – procedural care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
• Circulator role includes time outs, patient positioning, maintaining sterile environment, OR prep, inventory checks, and documentation.
