Job summary

Dignity Health - St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse.

You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care, perform skilled procedures, and develop individualized care plans within an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and outcomes. The role requires an RN license in CA, AS Nursing, CPR/BLS, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 30 days.

Qualifications

  • Associates of Science Nursing, upon hire.
  • Registered Nurse license for CA at hire.
  • BLS CPR certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 30 days.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care
  • Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel
  • Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate
  • Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, seeking assistance when appropriate
  • Implements patient histories, assesses patients' conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients. Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolution of problems
  • Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning. Implements multidisciplinary patient education care plan and documents patient teaching
