Job summary

Dignity Health - St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff, California is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care within an interdisciplinary team.

You will perform assessments, administer treatments, and implement individualized care plans to support patient recovery. Applicants must hold a CA RN license, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 90 days of hire; preferred is three years acute care experience.

Qualifications

  • Current CA RN licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Current PALS Certification (within 90 days of hire).
  • Preferred: Three years acute care experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel.
  • Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate.
  • Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, seeking assistance when appropriate.
  • Implements patient histories, assesses patients' conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients. Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolution of problems.
  • Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning. Implements multidisciplinary patient education care plan and documents patient teaching.

Job Requirements: Required:

  • Current CA RN licensure
