Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff, CA is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care in a fast‑paced acute setting.

  • Develop individualized care plans and document progress.
  • Assess educational needs and provide patient education.

  • Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel.
  • Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate.
  • Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, seeking assistance when appropriate.
  • Implements patient histories, assesses patients' conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients. Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolution of problems.
  • Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning. Implements multidisciplinary patient education care plan and documents patient teaching
Job Requirements
  • Associates degree in Nursing
  • Current CA RN licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Two years of previous clinical experience in acute care.
