Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and facility policy.
• Lead admissions and discharges when needed and maintain care continuity.
• Perform charting of resident progress, diagnoses, medications, symptoms, and observations.

Candidates will be expected to maintain a safe, clean work environment by complying with all policies, procedures, & regulations of the facility and state.

Duties will include supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants and LPN’s by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing staff to provide appropriate care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chart information regarding resident: progress, diagnoses, medication, symptoms, and observations. Administer medications as needed. Discuss with supervising nursing staff the progress of residents, plan of care, and care continuum. Provide various treatments as recommended by the physician.
• Perform physical assessments of residents. Handle admissions and/or discharges should the need occur.

Nursing Supervisor (RN) qualifications include:

• Current Georgia RN License.
• 2 years of supervisory experience (preferably in LTC/skilled nursing community).
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Current CPR/BLS First Aid Certification.
• Genuine passion for working with seniors.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and foster teamwork.
• Good documentation skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Complies with current federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing care in the execution of assigned duties.
