Job summary

Mercy in St. Louis is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health department on a full-time weekend option. Fri/Sat/Sun 10am-10pm and every other Thursday 1pm-9pm, with incentives and comprehensive benefits.

You’ll coordinate patient care, serve as a clinical resource, and may assume managerial duties as needed. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an RN license in the hiring state or a compact licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• 2 years' patient care experience; supervisor experience preferred.

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Functions as a staff nurse and acts as a clinical resource for staff and patients; assumes delegated managerial duties.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Licensure:
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Experience:
• 2 years' experience in patient care is required.
• Supervisor experience is preferred
• Certification:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
