Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license valid in California
• SNF experience preferred for supervisory role
• CPR certification required
• One year staff nurse and three years management experience in an acute care facility
• Nursing degree from accredited college or approved RN program required

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty
• Ensure care aligns with federal, state, local standards and regulations
• Direct and assist Licensed Nurses in clinical performance areas
• Perform duties of Charge Nurse as assigned
• Assist Director of Nursing Services on day shift as directed
• Notify Administrator/Director of Nursing of serious situations
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
