Job summary

Harbor’s Edge Norfolk is seeking highly qualified full‑time Registered Nurse Supervisors to lead our nursing teams and provide exceptional, compassionate care for our residents. The ideal candidates will have senior living experience and be able to work 8‑ and 12‑hour shifts in a state‑of‑the‑art environment with favorable nurse‑to‑patient ratios.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum of five years progressive nursing experience in Assisted Living, Memory Support, Long-Term Care, or CCRC.
• Three years in a supervisory role.
• Current CPR/BLS/AED certification required; ISP/UAI preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for a senior living setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff to ensure accurate, timely resident care, medication administration, and documentation per policies and regulations.
• Provide clinical leadership and staff development in a senior living environment.
• Direct resident care including admissions and discharges; monitor condition changes and report updates to physicians and managers.
• Conduct nursing audits and monthly summaries across units; perform regular rounds for staffing and compliance.
• Participate in care planning and family meetings to support resident-centered care.
• Coordinate nursing services with physicians and vendors to maintain continuity of care.
• Investigate incidents and document promptly per requirements.
• Promote a safe, compliant care environment and adhere to standards.
• Sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates.
