Job summary

The Peaks in Longmont, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to lead daily nursing operations and support a caring team in a senior living setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care, overseeing care plans, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

Responsibilities include supervising LPNs and CNAs, administering medications as prescribed, documenting progress, and coordinating with physicians.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience working in senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily nursing activities by LPNs, CMAs, and nursing assistants.
• Review care plans to ensure individualized care.
• Assess residents, document findings, and communicate with physicians.
• Deliver nursing care focused on comfort and well-being.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed.
• Notify physicians or Director of Nursing of significant changes in residents’ conditions.
• Respond to staff inquiries and attend to residents’ needs.
• Complete charting and documentation per policies.
• Respond to call lights and resident requests promptly.
