Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must possess a current active RN license in this state.
• Previous experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long term care community or related health care facility; geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and regulations governing long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities of LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations governing the Community.
