Job summary

Briarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care is actively seeking an experienced PRN RN Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team at Briarcliff Manor, NY. This role focuses on hands-on leadership, quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff support in a skilled nursing setting.

The RN Supervisor will assist with daily operations, supervise staff, conduct rounds, oversee medications, and participate in assessments, care planning, and discharge planning to maintain

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered New York State RN license.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
• Prior nursing home supervisory experience required.
• At least 6 months of rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• SigmaCare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the DON and ADON with daily nursing department operations.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care.
• Conduct rounds and monitor resident safety, clinical care, and staff performance.
• Oversee medication administration and treatments.
• Provide hands-on clinical support and nursing care when needed.
• Participate in assessments, care planning, and discharge planning.
• Support new admissions and communicate with residents and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Address staff concerns and performance issues professionally.
• Assist with state surveys, audits, and inspections.
• Conduct annual evaluations for LPNs and CNAs.
