Job summary

Advocate Health’s Pediatric Behavioral Health unit in Charlotte seeks a skilled RN to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care for youth aged 5–17 in a secure inpatient setting.

You will lead with evidence-based practice, ensure patient safety, and collaborate across disciplines to enhance the patient experience during nights, 36 hours per week, with a 36-hour nightly schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience (preferred).
• Previous management experience (preferred).
• Behavioral Health pediatric experience and supervisor experience.
• BSN required.
• If hired without BSN, enroll within 1 year and complete within 3 years.
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.
• Professional certification within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care per standards, policies, and procedures.
