Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Nursing Manager for the Levine Children’s Hospital 4P Rehab unit. The role leads nursing operations, oversees staff performance, and collaborates with physicians and teams to deliver high-quality pediatric rehabilitation care.

The position emphasizes clinical supervision, regulatory compliance, and ongoing performance improvement, with responsibilities spanning staffing, patient care coordination, and program development within a 13-bed inpatient

Qualifications

• RN license in appropriate state.
• BSN required; leadership experience preferred.
• Two years nursing experience preferred; management experience preferred.
• BLS required; certification within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager to enhance quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
• Assists with interviewing, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Coordinates communication via staff meetings and huddles.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state laws and hospital policies.
• R rounds on patients, staff, and physicians to assess care and operations.
• Delegates care elements to appropriate healthcare workers per policy.
• Identifies expected outcomes for continuity of care and department operations.
• Performs nursing care, assists with treatments and medications as needed.
• Manages patient flow and staffing based on volume and acuity.
