Job summary

Avamere Rehabilitation of Park West in Seattle, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time role. The position runs on a schedule of Thursday, Friday and Saturday or Thursday, Friday and Sunday, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The wage ranges from $50.00 to $60.00 per hour, depending on experience. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, assess residents, administer medications, monitor health, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, while supervising LPNs and CNAs.

Qualifications

Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Active RN license in the state with no encumbrances; BSN preferred.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Experience in long-term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute, or critical care settings.
Experience using electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

Assess residents and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
Administer medications and monitor responses as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor vital signs and health status; report changes promptly.
Collaborate with wound care specialists to support healing.
Supervise LPNs and CNAs; provide orientation and training for new staff.
Document care interventions and evaluations accurately.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to best practices.
