Job summary

Mercy South, 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128, seeks a Weekend Supervisor for Orthopedics. The role is full-time days, 36 hours weekly, 7a–7p, Fri/Sat/Sun. Requires RN licensure in Missouri and nursing education aligned with patient-care supervision.

Two to three years of patient-care experience are expected; BSN preferred and supervisory experience strongly preferred. Rehabilitation background and CRRN are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Must have a current RN license in the state of practice.
• Two or three years' experience in patient care.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Function as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
