Job summary

Mercy South in St. Louis is seeking a Weekend Supervisor - Orthopedics to oversee operations and patient care on weekends. The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and at least 2 years of patient care experience. This a full-time weekend position with a 36-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure

• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed.
• Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certification

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
