Job summary

Mercy South, 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128, is seeking a Weekend Supervisor for Orthopedics to oversee patient care and department operations.

This full-time day shift (7a–7p) supports planning, coordination and evaluation, acting as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the orthopedic unit. The role requires RN licensure in the state, 2–3 years of patient care, and supervisory or managerial experience; BSN is preferred, CRRN and rehab experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• 2–3 years of patient care experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• CRRN preferred.
• Rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of department operations and patient care.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients.
• Perform staff nurse duties in the department as needed.
• Take on managerial duties delegated by the manager.
