Job summary

Mercy South, St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Weekend Supervisor for Orthopedics to oversee operations and patient care in designated areas. The role includes serving as a clinical resource and stepping in as a staff nurse when necessary.

A current RN license is required in Missouri, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred and CRRN or rehab experience valued. This is a full-time, 7a–7p weekend position (36 hours/week) in the Orthopedics department.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Must have a current RN license in Missouri.
• Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Provide staff nurse coverage as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
