Job summary

Community Medical Centers in Fresno, CA is seeking an experienced RN Hospital Supervisor to coordinate nursing and hospital services at the assigned facility. You will oversee patient flow, manage transfers, and communicate across CHS facilities and external partners while guiding resource and break nurses.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) Hospital Supervisor coordinates nursing and hospital services for the assigned facility while maintaining an awareness of issues that impact patient care. Responsible for patient flow, intra- and inter- facility patient transfers, and communication at the assigned facility, between other Community Health System (CHS) facilities, and outside entities. Additionally, this position directly supervises and provides leadership to resource and break nurses.

Qualifications

• Education – High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• Experience – Significant experience as a RN in an acute care setting required
• Experience – Leadership experience at the supervisor or manager level preferred
• Licenses and Certifications – RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
• Licenses and Certifications – BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Licenses and Certifications – ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required
