Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse (RN) Hospital Supervisor coordinates nursing and hospital services for the assigned facility while maintaining an awareness of issues that impact patient care. Responsible for patient flow, intra- and inter- facility patient transfers, and communication at the assigned facility, between other Community Health System (CHS) facilities, and outside entities. Additionally, this position directly supervises and provides leadership to resource and break nurses.

Qualifications:

• Education High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• Experience Significant experience as a RN in an acute care setting required
• Experience Leadership experience at the supervisor or manager level preferred
• Licenses and Certifications RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
• Licenses and Certifications BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Licenses and Certifications ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required
