Job summary

Laurels of Sandy Creek in Wayland, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate resident care during the 6pm-6am night shift. The role supervises LPNs, CNAs, and other staff, ensuring care plans meet standards and safety requirements.

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, Medication Aides, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
