Job summary

Mountain Laurel Healthcare in Pennsylvania invites you to join us as a Registered Nurse Supervisor for the overnight 11pm–7am shift. This role leads patient care, directs plans of care, and supports a skilled team of LPNs and CNAs in a long-term care setting.

You’ll perform assessments, assist physicians, monitor patients, manage admissions and discharges, and handle clinical and administrative duties. An RN license and CPR/BLS are required; BSN is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Nursing and management experience in a long-term care environment.
• Current RN license and CPR/BLS certification.
• BSN is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Directing, initiating and implementing resident/patient Plan of Care.
• Performing resident/patient assessments.
• Assisting Physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Preparing equipment, applying/changing dressings, and monitoring patients.
• Checking residents/patients’ vital signs and maintaining records.
• Overseeing clinical operations, the RN Supervisor also handles various administrative tasks.
• Administering prescribed medications and injections.
• Acting as a leader in providing guidance to LPNs and CNAs.
• Assisting in the admissions and discharge process.
• The RN Supervisor role encompasses not only clinical responsibilities but also administrative duties

Requirements for Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN):

• Nursing and Management experience in a long term care environment preferred.

• Must be an RN, Registered Nurse graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN is preferred but not required.

• Must have current RN License and current CPR or BLS certification.
