Job summary

Mountain Laurel Healthcare in Lawrence Township, PA is hiring an RN Supervisor for an 8-hour evening shift (2:30 PM–10:30 PM) with shift differentials. The role combines clinical leadership with administrative duties in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include directing and implementing care plans, supervising LPNs/CNAs, assisting physicians, administering meds, and overseeing admissions and discharges. RN license and CPR/BLS are required; BSN preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Nursing and management experience in a long term care environment preferred.
• Must be an RN, Registered Nurse graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN is preferred but not required.
• Must have current RN license and current CPR or BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Directing, initiating and implementing resident/patient Plan of Care.
• Performing resident/patient assessments.
• Assisting Physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Preparing equipment, applying/changing dressings, and monitoring patients.
• Checking residents/patients' vital signs and symptoms, maintaining records
• Overseeing clinical operations, the RN Supervisor also handles various administrative tasks
• Administering prescribed medications and injections.
• Acting as a leader in providing guidance to LPNs and CNAs.
• Assisting in the admissions and discharge process
• The RN Supervisor role encompasses not only clinical responsibilities but also administrative duties
