Job summary

Miami Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, part of Fair Havens, seeks an experienced RN Supervisor for night shift (11pm–7am) to oversee the nursing team and ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has Florida RN licensure, at least two years of RN experience, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Enforce policies and procedures to comply with safety standards and protocols.
• Conduct daily rounds to monitor patient care and address concerns.
• Train and develop new hires; keep staff updated on procedures.
• Develop and implement nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions.
• Provide support and guidance to nursing staff to improve skills and performance.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and reports; collaborate with other departments.
• Mediate staff or patient-related conflicts as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team at Miami Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department during the night shift ( 11pm-7am), ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of patient care that meets the highest standards.
• Enforcing policies and procedures to ensure complicance with safety standards and protocols.
• Conduct daily rounds to monitor patient care and address any concerns or issues
• Training and Development -conduct training sessions for new hires and ensure that all staff is up to date on the latest procedures and practices.
• Develop and implement nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions
• Provide support and guidance to nursing staff to improve their skills and performance
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
• Conflict Resolution-mediate for staff disputes or patient related issues.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Florida
• At least (2) years of experience as a registered nurse
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of nursing best practices and standards
