Job summary

The Meadow View Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing care in our skilled facility. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure quality patient care, and coordinate with physicians to optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities include administering medications, planning care, charting, and participating in admissions and discharge planning. A PA RN license and BCLS certification are required, with SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid PA state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Current AHA health care provider training (BCLS).
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing knowledge for preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative care for assigned residents.
• Performs independent nursing functions using established procedures, policies, guidelines and standards.
• Admits and assesses residents including initial care plan.
• Administers assessments, treatments, medications, and diets accurately, observing patient response.
• Completes all required resident charting every shift.
• Makes rounds on unit every shift; assess orderliness, infection control and resident care.
• Observes and documents changes in residents’ condition and reports to the attending physician and other departments.
• Participates in discharge planning with physician and other departments according to residents’ needs.
• Directs, supervises, and assists CNAs and other nursing staff in providing bedside care.
• Works collaboratively with other health care team members in coordinating resident care.
