Job summary

Commonwealth Care in Manassas, VA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing leadership team in a part-time capacity at our Long-Term Care & Skilled Nursing facility. You will provide direct patient care while supervising LPNs, CNAs, and other clinical staff.

The RN will balance hands-on care with leadership duties, potentially serving as Nursing Supervisor or House Supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Past supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients per individualized plans.
• Supervise and support licensed nurses, CNAs, and other clinical staff.
• Direct delivery of safe, compassionate patient care.
• Serve as House Supervisor in absence of DON/ADON/RN supervisor.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and implement orders.
• Review orders and test results and take follow-up actions.
