Job summary

Eastern Health Group seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Supervisor to lead nursing staff during shifts in our Virginia long-term care facilities. You will oversee clinical and administrative functions, ensure high-quality resident care, and mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, documentation, emergency response, and collaborative care planning with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN or LPN license.
• 2–3 years nursing experience in long-term care/geriatric settings.
• Supervisory/charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing care delivery to meet quality and safety standards.
• Supervise RN/LPN/CNA staff during assigned shifts and provide guidance.
• Maintain proper shift handoffs, documentation, and team communication.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate documentation in EHRs.
• Coordinate care plans and respond to medical emergencies with the care team.
