Job summary

Chateau Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center seeks a registered nurse to provide direct patient care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and report to the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include shift planning, medication administration, patient assessments, and maintaining accurate charts.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with current, unrestricted license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and guidelines for facilities.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Complete and file admission/discharge charts and physician orders.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain collaboration with inter-departmental staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Provide patient rounds with physicians; monitor and report residents’ status.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
