Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• BSN at time of hire.
• 2 years of progressive responsibility within an acute care setting.
• Must obtain and maintain clinical competencies within assigned unit.
• BLS and ACLS upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates and assist with operations by functioning as the first line supervisor to staff.
• Acts as a resource to staff to provide direct assistance or connect with appropriate resources.
• Performs performance management including coaching and evaluations.
• Initiates disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Works with staff to facilitate patient flow and optimize clinical capacity.
• Determines when and how to flex staff schedules for coverage.
• Facilitates timely throughput to optimize clinical capacity.
• Performs service recovery to promote patient and employee retention.
• Responds to staff and patient/family needs.
• Addresses conflicts and mediates discussions for smooth operations.
• Participates in Quality and Patient Safety initiatives and committees.
• Develops and coordinates orientation for new staff.
• Collaborates with leadership to assess clinical competence of staff.
