Job summary

Townsend Park Health & Rehab is seeking an RN in Georgia to support nursing leadership, admit/discharge patients, and coordinate care planning. You’ll use your organizational and communication skills to supervise licensed and unlicensed staff and ensure compliant documentation and patient flow.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, timely reports, and adherence to regulatory standards, with shift differentials and weekly pay in a non-profit, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Active RN license to practice in the State of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director of Nursing in organizing and directing the day-to-day functions of nursing staff.
• Admits, discharges and transfers patients as requested.
• Documentation and billing supplies used.
• Sends patients to the hospital as necessary.
• Develops work assignments for unlicensed staff.
• Maintains effective lines of communication with attending physicians.
• Coordinates care planning/MDS process and committee meetings as necessary.
• Performs other duties to ensure the success of the System.
