StoneBridge Olney, a senior living community, is seeking an RN supervisor to coordinate and manage nursing care for residents. The role involves directing CNAs, ensuring safe medication administration, and maintaining adherence to physician orders and policies.

Ideal candidates will have an active RN license, CPR cert, and at least 2 years of long-term care experience, with strong communication and leadership abilities to support our compassionate caregiving team.

Formación

• Must have a current state license to practice as an RN.
• Current CPR certification; additional nursing specialty certifications are desirable.
• 2 years' experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience with EMR is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, procedures, and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises nursing care provided by CNAs and others under supervision.
• Plans and directs work of nursing team; assigns tasks considering resident safety and staff capability.
• Maintains staffing in accordance with policies and labor laws; manages break schedules.
• Prepares performance evaluations impacting tenure and wage adjustments.
• Coordinates nursing care to ensure residents are assigned appropriately and receive medications per schedule.
• Administers and documents medications and treatments; manages narcotics accountability.
• Responds to resident requests for pain intervention and documents in records.
• Notifies physicians of changes in status and implements new orders; conducts ongoing assessments.
