Novara Healthcare Services seeks an RN Supervisor for The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Chittenango, NY. The role oversees daily patient care, staffing, and collaboration with physicians to promote health, while providing support to patients and families.

You will supervise nursing staff, ensure safety and quality of care, and maintain documentation. This on-site role offers a competitive pay rate and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN Licensure (BSN preferred but not required).
• Minimum two years of experience in Long-Term Care or medical/surgical settings.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient service requirements by engaging with patients and others involved in care.
• Schedule and assign nursing staff to complete patient care requirements.
• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Communicate with patients and healthcare teams to address questions and requests.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment by enforcing procedures and regulations.
• Protect patients and staff by following infection-control and medication policies.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and proper handling of records.
• Oversee medical and administrative equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Foster cooperative relationships among healthcare teams and drive problem solving.]
