Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous management experience preferred.
• BSN required; enroll in BSN if not already enrolled within 1 year and complete within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager to enhance nursing practice and department operations.
• Assist with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing staff.
• Coordinate staff communications via meetings and huddles.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and policies.
• Round on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess satisfaction and care quality.
• Delegate care to appropriate staff per policies and guide care continuity.
• Evaluate progress toward outcomes and disseminate information to the team.
• Perform nursing care, assist with treatments, therapies, and medicines.
• Manage patient flow and staffing through ongoing assessment.
