Job summary

Mountainside Nursing Home in Mountainside, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to oversee the nursing team and ensure high-quality resident care. As an RN Supervisor, you will provide exceptional care, manage daily operations of the nursing staff, and foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned residents in accordance with the nursing process.
• Direct day-to-day functions of LPNs and CNAs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Provide assessment of and respond to resident conditions utilizing the nursing process.
• Maintain effective communication with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Complete and ensure LPN and CNA documentation of care and services rendered according to facility policies and procedures.
• Complete reports such as the 24-hour change in condition report and incident reports according to policy.
• Ensure timely and accurate medication and treatment administration.
• Communicate with physicians and document changes in resident condition.
• Document and implement changes in nursing and medical plans of care.
