Job summary

Highland Pines in Longview, TX is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to lead nursing staff on shift, oversee quality of care, and ensure timely medication administration and adherence to physician orders. You will coordinate care with other departments and manage staffing to meet state requirements.

The role requires a RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and prior SNF experience. Full-time, day schedule with weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state of practice, required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).

Responsibilities

• Ensures delivery of high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shift.
• Provides direct resident care when required; administers medications and treatments timely per policy.
• Oversees medication management and ensures PCC is used per company policy.
• Collaborates with departments to provide timely, effective care per resident needs and preferences.
• Assists in weekend/holiday coverage and regulates staffing to minimize overtime.
