Job summary

Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to work the 3-11 shift in our newly renovated 4-star facility. The successful candidate will supervise staff, ensure patient care quality, and coordinate with family, physicians, and other departments as a primary liaison.

Responsibilities include treatment and medication administration, admissions, nursing meetings, chart audits, incident follow-up, and annual staff evaluations.

Qualifications

• Must have current CT RN license
• Must have experience in Long Term Care
• Must have supervisory experience
• Must have excellent leadership and communication skills

Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to work 3-11 in our newly renovated 4-star facility. We are seeking a nurse who is committed to patient care, supervising staff able to function as a supervisor and charge nurse when needed to meet the resident's needs. We value teamwork and a team player and are committed to excellence. We currently have a 32-hour 3-11 RN Supervisor position available.

Must have every other weekend availability.

On-call requirement for this position

Duties of RN Supervisor:

• Oversee unit

• Assist with treatment and medication administration

• Assist with Admissions

• Attend and participate in nursing meetings

• Conduct audits of all new admission charts

• Serve as liaison between family, patient, doctor and other departments
