Wentworth Rehabilitation and Health Care Center Inc. in Chicago seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring care aligns with federal, state and local standards and facility policies.

This leadership role requires an IL RN license, CPR certification, strong clinical knowledge, and the ability to make independent decisions. You will collaborate with physicians, coordinate care plans, and foster a warm, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Illinois.
• Current CPR certificate or obtain within two weeks.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Interest or knowledge in care of the aged.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to deal tactfully with customers, families, staff, and the public.
• Leadership and supervisory ability to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Personable, enthusiastic, and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise day-to-day nursing activities.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local standards and facility policies.
• Plan, supervise, and participate in patient care plans.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in quality improvement.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes and documentation.
