Cypress Garden Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Flushing, NY is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our evening nursing team. You will oversee nursing operations, support staff, and ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care while maintaining compliance with facility policies.

This full-time role requires active NY RN licensure, at least two years in long-term care, and prior supervisory experience.

Formación

• Active RN license in New York.
• Minimum of two years of progressive nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and oversee evening nursing operations; weekdays and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the DON and ADON with daily nursing operations.
• Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff during evening shifts.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident care, safety, and staff performance.
• Respond to clinical concerns, changes in resident condition, and emergencies.
• Coordinate nursing assignments and staffing coverage.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Participate in surveys, audits, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and promote communication among staff, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Foster a positive, resident-centered care environment.
