Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Active RN license in New York State.
• Current CPR certification.
• 2+ years of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or related clinical setting.
• Exceptional clinical assessment, critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communicator who thrives in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Leadership: Assist the DON and ADON in overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring adherence to facility policies and state regulations.
• Staff Oversight: Mentor and guide nursing personnel to uphold job standards, professional conduct, and best practices.
• Regulatory Compliance: Take part in and facilitate government and accreditation surveys, ensuring our facility meets or exceeds all requirements.
• Quality Rounds: Conduct daily rounds to monitor care delivery, address clinical concerns, and drive continuous improvement.
• Conflict Resolution: Investigate and resolve staff complaints and grievances with professionalism and discretion, escalating to the Director of Nursing Services as needed.
