Job summary

Cypress Garden Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Flushing, NY seeks an experienced RN Supervisor to lead our evening nursing team. You will oversee operations, support staff, and ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care while complying with policies and regulations.

Active NY RN licensure and at least two years in long-term care with supervisory experience are required. Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success

Qualifications

• Active NY RN licensure.
• Minimum two years in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to oversee evening nursing operations.
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON and ADON with daily nursing operations.
• Supervise nursing staff during evening shifts.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident care, safety, and staff performance.
• Respond to clinical concerns, changes in resident condition, and emergencies.
• Coordinate nursing assignments and staffing coverage.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Participate in surveys, audits, inspections, and QA initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and promote communication among staff, residents, families.
• Foster a resident-centered care environment.
