Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Owensville, MO seeks a registered nurse to plan, coordinate and manage nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. You will work under the Director of Nursing to ensure compassionate, patient-centered care with emphasis on safe medication administration and accurate documentation.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR certification, and a commitment to geriatric nursing.

Qualifications

• Must have a current state license to practice as an RN.
• Current CPR certification and nursing specialty certification desired.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic nursing practice with an interest in gerontological nursing. Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by nursing assistants and others under supervision.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work of nursing team members.
• Prepares work assignment sheets considering resident safety and staff abilities.
• Reports staff shortages to nursing management and assists in evaluations.
• Coordinates medication administration and documentation per physician orders.
• Conducts ongoing assessments and notifies physicians of changes in status.
