Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to provide operational and clinical leadership for Day Surgery, PACU, and PAT. The role oversees ~37 staff across 37 rooms, ensuring safe, high-quality perioperative care.

Leadership responsibilities include staff development, throughput optimization, and collaboration with nursing leadership to promote operational excellence and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Charge Nurse experience.
• Critical Care nursing experience.
• Experience using Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for Day Surgery, PACU, and PAT.
• Mentor and develop staff; assist with scheduling and staffing.
• Ensure patient safety and quality outcomes in perioperative care.
• Collaborate with Nursing Manager and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor budgets and governance activities.
