Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Texas RN License.
• Current BLS certification by AHA.
• ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care nursing with leadership experience.
• Experience in perioperative services strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and evaluation of staff performance and participate in annual evaluations.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and staffing tools to meet operational demands.
• Promote patient safety and quality of care through orientation and ongoing staff training.
• Manage incident reports and coordinate risk management with leadership.
• Collaborate with departments to coordinate perioperative care and ensure seamless processes.
• Lead by example in adherence to codes of conduct and hospital policies.
