Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to provide operational and clinical leadership for the Day Surgery, PACU, and PAT departments. This role oversees a team of approximately 37 staff and 37 rooms, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Charge Nurse experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience in critical care nursing.
• Experience using Epic EMR for documentation.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing and unit staff in Day Surgery, PACU, and PAT.
• Ensure safe, high-quality perioperative patient care across units.
• Lead daily operations, staffing, and productivity.
• Partner with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams.
• Mentor staff and support operational excellence and patient satisfaction.
