Job summary

Valley View Manor in Norwich, NY is seeking an energetic Day shift Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead our 82-bed facility. The role requires strong supervision, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on nursing leadership on the floor.

Qualified candidates will hold an NYS RN license, preferably with 2 years in long-term care, and be capable of coordinating resident care, supervising staff, and ensuring quality patient outcomes. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in long-term care.
• Licensed in NYS as a registered nurse.
• Ability to supervise and discipline staff and ensure high standards of care.
• Knowledge and experience of PICC/IV management, wound vac management, trach care, medical drain management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing for resident care are available.

Position Title: RN Supervisor

Valley View Manor is looking for an energetic and compassionate Day shift Nurse Supervisor (RN)for our 82-bed facility located in Norwich, NY.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assists in planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating all nursing services provided in the facility to achieve desired clinical and financial outcomes.
• Assist in ensuring that facility is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Assists in ensuring necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing are available for the delivery of the prescribed resident/patient care.
• Completes rounds of the facility to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.
• Coordinates the care of residents on assigned shift.
• Demonstrate effective and organized communication with residents, families, staff, and medical providers.
• Demonstrate ability to solve problems and multi-task under pressure.
