Job summary

Valley View Manor in Norwich, NY is seeking an energetic Day shift Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead our 82-bed facility. The role requires strong supervision, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on nursing leadership on the floor.

Qualified candidates will hold an NYS RN license, preferably with 2 years in long-term care, and be capable of coordinating resident care, supervising staff, and ensuring quality patient outcomes. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in long-term care.
• Licensed in NYS as a registered nurse.
• Ability to supervise and discipline staff and ensure high standards of care.
• Knowledge and experience of PICC/IV management, wound vac management, trach care, medical drain management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating all nursing services in the facility.
• Ensure facility compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing for resident care are available.
• Complete rounds to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate care of residents on assigned shift.
• Demonstrate effective communication with residents, families, staff, and providers.
• Demonstrate ability to solve problems and multi-task under pressure.
