Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead nursing operations on a unit and participate in the unit-based leadership team.

The role may require stepping in for 24-hour nursing coverage in the absence of the manager, with responsibilities across a specific patient population and shift from 11:00AM to 11:30PM, including weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
