Job summary

Aston Group in Florida is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise nursing staff and oversee daily activities during assigned shifts, ensuring care quality and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or equivalent nursing degree.
• Current state RN license.
• Peripheral IV certification.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience.
• One year of management experience preferred.
• One year of geriatrics or subacute care experience.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• English reading, writing and speaking; other languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily nursing activities and monitor staff performance.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to address concerns and improve services.
• Identify problems in resident care and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
